We will redesign the approach adidas has with **makers** to improve their experience as consumers and collaborators, because they value **unique experiences**, by creating **honest products** that have a true impact in their **community.**

**The challenge Feed** is where the makers discover all the open and upcoming challenges that they can join. Makers can join any challenge that they believe they have the skillset to complete. It is open to any member that wants to participate, but only the active members that contributed to the solution are awarded if their proposal is selected as the winner.

After joining a challenge from the main feed, users collaborate in what we call, **The Whiteboard:** This feature is a creative space where users can drag and drop media items like **images, svgs, gifs, videos, and bookmarks**, and be able to connect and mind map their ideas together with comments in asynchronous discussions.\
\
This is one of the most effective ways of collaboration between creatives from different practices and backgrounds. By enabling creators with this tool and setting the right constrains, beautiful solutions can emerge from these co-design sessions.

After the team agrees, the admin can submit their proposal to solve the challenge and spect the community to rate their solution.

Depending on the level of our profile, we can be able to rate other creators' projects on other challenges. The rating is based on different characteristics that we need to independently add a score. These characteristics are determined by the creator of the challenge and they can be different for each project.

It was an honor to do this project in collaboration with adidas and the adidas MakerLab team. We visited the adidas headquarters at Herzogenaurach, Germany, and received a challenging brief. This project is the result of months of work, design sprints, multiple progress presentations, feedback, and experimentation. It was a transformative experience that helped us grow as Interaction Design professionals.

elevator: Case Study

During the IED Master in Interaction Design (2018), our team  was given a design brief by the **Hewlett Packard Company**. They needed us to “Show what Mixed Reality is by explaining its potential through the lens of HP products".

Through research, it was found that analog formats had a special way of empowering creators and consumers to enjoy the process of their products while digital technologies offered very smooth user experiences through simplicity and accessibility. For the proposal, we merged these technologies into a new innovative experience through an international loved language: **music.**

A service that allows music fans to 3D print their own personalized vinyl and to experience music in a new and unique way.

We designed a platform and a physical integration of HP technology and Mixed Reality. We worked in pairs to cover different aspects of the project starting from UX research, sketching, prototyping, testing, building a UI kit, and designing a brand identity.

We had the most amazing opportunity of presenting Bitbump at Sonar +D; We showcased the product prototypes at our exposition booth and got to talk about the project in front of an audience. We were really happy about the positive response we got.

Our final product is the highlight of our unique experience and ultimately, our answer to the initial brief. It encapsulates our proposed way to establish positive connections with our audience through innovation that evokes wonder, helping us explain what Blended Reality is in a simple and effortless way.

My role as **researcher, product designer, and main visual designer** in this project thought me many important lessons.
